Accumulus Advisory’s 2018 Year On Reflection

As the holiday season creeps closer & closer, we always like to take the opportunity to reflect on the past twelve months and, on those who have helped shape our business.

It’s been a massive year for Accumulus and we couldn’t be prouder of the entire team and what we’ve been able to achieve. Like many of you, we too are a small business so, to be short-listed across multiple categories from 1,000’s of accounting firms across Victoria we believe to be a fantastic achievement. It’s been an extremely humbling and invigorating experience for the team and our clients.

Awards & Nominations

2018 Victorian SMSF and Accounting Awards: Accumulus was fortunate enough to be listed as finalists in the following 4 categories;

    • Accounting Firm of the Year
    • Fast Growing Firm of the Year
    • Small Business Adviser of the Year
  • Tax & Compliance Firm of the Year

Whilst we didn’t get the gong it was again, incredibly humbling to be nominated by our community, clientele and the industry. A real testament to our loyal team, that love what they do!

Social Awareness

Giving back to our local community has always been an integral part of the Accumulus culture. As our firm grows, so does our capacity to help others in need.To continue helping our local communities, we created the ‘Casual Fridays for a Cause’ initiative. Every Friday our entire team, along with some of our very generous clients, had the opportunity to donate to the ‘Casual Friday Fund’. This year we have proudly supported three major fundraisers that are close to our hearts; Drought-Affected Dairy Farmer’s Relief Fund, Childhood Cancer Research and Cams Cause.

Financial Planning

Accumulus Advisory was delighted to announce the launch of Accumulus Wealth Advice. This new service symbolises a significant achievement and check-point on our strategic roadmap, as we continue to expand and strengthen our professional service, care and offerings to our clients.

Founded and also operating from our Moonee Ponds office, allowing clients to receive a seamless and complete service, Accumulus Wealth Advice has a key focus on providing strategic financial advice, encompassing the following core services:

    • Superannuation
    • Wealth Accumulation
    • Personal Insurance (i.e. Life Insurance, Disability & Income Protection)
    • Debt and Cash Flow Management
    • Social Security & Aged Care Consulting
    • Business Protection & Succession Planning
  • Retirement Planning and Income Streaming

We are extremely excited about this new venture and we welcome the opportunity to provide further care and value to all our clients.

Business Coaching

We were also excited to add to our Business Coaching services, by way of our ‘One-Day Workshops’. Many business owners find it incredibly challenging to create an effective, Strategic Business Plan. It is often difficult to know where to start, what to include and how detailed it needs to be. That’s precisely why we developed our ‘One-Day Workshops’.

Prior to the ‘One-Day Workshop’, we meticulously review several key areas, initially with our 150+ questionnaire specifically designed for each client’s business plus, several follow up conversations over a 3-week period. Most importantly, this includes not just the business itself but, key stakeholders & owners personal goals also to coincide and compliment the business’ goals.

The result after a 3-4-week process, a robust Business Action Plan and roadmap to follow.

Cloud Solutions

As one of the very early adopters of cloud accounting & business systems Australia-wide, over 8 years ago we believe we have the expertise to advise & implement many cloud business solutions fully tailored to meet your business requirements. This allowing you to free up your time, increase your productivity and help you run your business more efficiently. With Xero now having an ‘app market place’ of over 700 unique apps, many businesses are making the move to the cloud. We now offer and provide insight on each of these apps together with training programs, to help your business be more efficient and to grow from strength to strength.

Closing For Christmas

The office will be closed from Thursday 20th of December and will re-open Monday 7th January 2019. If you have any queries for the team make sure you get in touch before the team goes on a well-deserved break.
